The nation is celebrating Pakistan Day to commemorate Lahore Resolution adopted on the very day in 1940.On this special day, the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent pledged to create an independent homeland, where they could live in accordance with their religious and cultural values.
The day would dawn with 31 gun salutes in the federal capital Islamabad and 21 gun salutes in provincial capitals.The day would be observed as public holiday in all federal and provincial government offices, banks and private offices. The national flag will be hoisted on important public and private buildings throughout the country and all Pakistani missions abroad.
Special prayers will be offered for prosperity‚ integrity,unity of Muslim Ummah and may ALLAH shower his endless blessings on our country and give us courage to make pakistan developed, loving, clean and terror free.
