Samsung has won 4 awards in 2012 Technical Image Press Association awards in the following categories:
- Best General Compact Camera
- Best Mobile Imaging Device
- Best Photo Monitor; and
- Best Photo TV Display
The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards are recognized as the most coveted photo and imaging awards worldwide. Every year, TIPA editors vote for the best photo and imaging products. The venue for this awards ceremony will be Photokina in Cologne, Germany.
Award for best mobile imaging device was won by Samsung Galaxy Nexus for its HD Super AMOLED display. The high-definition display enables users to view media with a wide viewing angle with brilliant quality.
Samsung MultiView MV800 won the ‘Best General Compact Camera Award’, establishing itself as the ultimate compact camera available in the market.
